3-D Thursday: Santa Gift Box

The Gift Box Punch Board has been available for quite some time, but I haven't brought it out at stamp club yet.  I thought we'd put together a holiday box to give members a chance to get it in their hands.

This box is 2-1/2" on each side.  With the punch board, you can make boxes with sizes ranging from 1-3/4" to 4".  My box was inspired by one by Tracy Elsom.

Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Silver Glimmer paper, Silver Foil sheet; Accessories: Square punches, Gift Box Punch Board.

It's been tough going around here.  We've been adjusting to our new puppy, and meanwhile, we found out our old dog had a bone tumor.  She was losing her mobility quickly and was in a lot of pain.  For two days, she didn't sleep.  We had to say goodbye to her last week.

Being an abused puppy from the shelter, she had a rough start.  But she had such an awesome life after that, mountain biking, running, hiking in Acadia, and visiting the cabin and lake in Canada every year.  We were so pleased with her, we got another Rhodesian Ridgeback like her.  She was active, a great protector, and so gentle with the family.  That new puppy has some big paws to fill.

Oh Heidi, I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Dear sweet friend. She was lucky to be a part of your family!!

So sorry that you had to say goodbye to your fur baby. It takes a long time to grieve that loss and it's not at all silly to feel that way about a dog.

Losing our fur-babies is so hard. Like you said, she had many, many good years with you, godBless.
